I had a wart that has emerged on my knee. It was nothing like I had plantar warts on my foot 10 years ago. This wart, I thought was a mole, however, it is skin color and grew up with a greenhouse dome. There was no top to it scaly and it was all the same texture without raised and lower parts. I started treatment with salicylic acid daily off the old skin.
The wart slowly started to decrease. Now it does not diminish its diameter only in the height of the dome narrowed below. A weekend, I must be out of town and did not receive treatment and wart seems to emerge fast next week. It seemed greater now that was before.
I think I caught it because I play in sports that I wear knee pads and about 6 months ago had to use the towels to another player because I forgot mine. What a mistake that was.
But this thing was growing and it had no intention of leaving soon.
The acidic compound W has not worked a little, but the wart is now regaining strength and need something more radical.
I started using hydrogen peroxide at a grade of 35% restoration. My grandmother had that. You must be very careful with it is an acid and burns the skin. That's why I use this wart. I want it burned. I used a Q-Tip and dotted the region. It stung a little and the skin on the wart turned white. I decided to continue use this 2 times a day and takes off the dead skin as possible to get this down. I also put a bandage on the area of the wart after treatment.
This stuff works very good but certainly I think it will be like the W compound and if you stop using the wart coming back, you do have not completely withdrawn.
I used this for a few weeks and use a stone to grind the excess skin remaining.
The wart is smaller in size and appears to be controlled with hydrogen peroxide.
